Naomi is passionate about sharing her passion for writing with young writers. She offers a number of workshops in connection with the From Sadie’s Sketchbook series.
Also, through Society of Young Inklings, Naomi offers writing workshops, resources and publishing opportunities for young writers as well as professional development for educators.
Naomi enjoys collaborating with educators directly. In her current project at Ormondale Elementary in Portola Valley, CA, she is working with teachers to redesign the writing curriculum for grades k-3. Using the Inklings signature game-based methodology, the curriculum breaks the writing process down into developmentally appropriate steps in the genres of narrative, informational and opinion writing.
Previously, Naomi was a writer in residence at The Phillips Brooks School, collaborating with educators on various writing units, many of which combined theatre and writing.
