Beyond her classes for young people, Naomi offers creative writing workshops for adults built on the philosophy that play is an essential part of the writing process. Through play, writers deepen and develop their stories. Offered both in ongoing formats and in one-day sessions, these workshops are offered to groups of six or more.

Jump into your character’s shoes. Walk around in their world. Watch your writing spring to life.
During this workshop, writers will dive into the world of their written words, using improvisational techniques and creative activities to add vibrancy to their dialogue, action to their scenes, and sensory detail to their description. All the while, we will focus on finding and developing the heartbeat of our stories: the whimsical, silly, joyful or tearstained life moments that transform fiction into truth.
